Creative Catering was founded by Mrs Fawzia Gydien in the 1990s in Cape Town.  She started by making pies, samoosas and half moons and, initially, her friends and family had to pick up their orders at her home.  Shortly after she started,  she had to acquire a vehicle to deliver her orders herself because she became so busy.  Today, she restricts her catering to the Western Cape Education Department and City Council.  She is also one of a handful of caterers that has access to parliament in Cape Town.  Unfortunately, she doesn't do private functions anymore.
